New car insurance customers with Sainsbury's could save a substantial amount of money on their premium.
The financial services section of the well-known supermarket brand is offer new customers a discount of up to 15 per cent of their car insurance premium if they take out a policy before 9 April.
This could mean a saving of up to £293 in one year, cutting almost a third off of the average motorist's car insurance policy costs.
However, in order to access the deal, customers need to have a Nectar card. Fortunately, they won't just receive a discount but they will also be given access to free breakdown cover for one year and double Nectar points on their Sainsbury's shopping and fuel for two years.
Ben Tyte, head of Sainsbury's car insurance, commented on the offer: "This is an incredible offer for the Sainsbury's shopper, one they'll find hard to beat.
"While many insurers are offering discounts or free services at this time of year, we're giving our customers a complete package with an up to 15 per cent discount (20 per cent for the next seven days), free breakdown cover and the benefit of year round savings on their groceries and fuel."
