Car insurance customers are being encouraged to tackle potentially tricky road conditions by availing of a tyre offer from Kwik Fit and Michelin, which is also worth a free fuel voucher.

Kwik Fit explains that any motorist who buys four Michelin tyres at any Kwik Fit centre – or online at kwik-fit.com – before 28th November can claim a £40 voucher, which they can then use at any Sainsbury's filling station.

David White, Kwik Fit's customer service director, says there is the further bonus of a 25 per cent discount on the price of four tyres for drivers who take advantage of the offer, as well as 15 per cent off the price of two Michelin tyres.

"As we head into the colder months, it is important to make sure that motorists have well-maintained tyres with good tread to combat potentially tricky road conditions," he notes. "Also, with petrol prices on the rise again, it gives us great pleasure to offer our customers a free fill-up when they buy four Michelin tyres this autumn."

UK motorists will also be interested to know that there is a free MOT voucher for anyone who buys a Kwik Fit car insurance policy.
