We have a note in from Halifax Car Insurance that they are now offering a five year guarantee on repairs if a customer uses one of the recommended repairers.

If you’ve had trouble in the past with shoddy repairers, as I had last year after someone pranged the back of my Mercedes ML270i, this could be a nice little extra.

The Halifax also offer a free courtesy car while your car’s in being repaired, which goes hand-in-hand with the repair guarantee. I guess it suits those drivers most who normally have access to only one car in the household and where having access to a vehicle is a must.

Remember, Halifax offer a 10% discount online.
